Reports suggest that she was tricked under the pretense of getting a lead role and investment opportunity in a film. A case has now been registered against the accused. Film Producers Tricked Arushi Nishank into Investing Crores A shocking fraud case has surfaced involving actress and producer Arushi Nishank, where two Mumbai-based film producers, Mansi Varun Bagla and Varun Pramod Kumar Bagla, allegedly scammed her of ₹4 crore. A complaint has been filed against them at Kotwali Police Station in Dehradun. The accused reportedly lured Arushi by offering her a lead role in a film and promising high returns on investment.
Fraud in the Name of a Film Role According to reports, the producers claimed that a key role in the film was available and offered it to Arushi. However, they set a condition—she had to invest ₹5 crore in the project. In return, they promised her a 20% share in the film’s earnings. They also assured her that if she was not satisfied with the script, her money would be refunded with an additional 15% interest. How the Fraud Unfolded Trusting their words, Arushi signed an MoU with Himshree Films and Mini Films on October 9, 2024. She then transferred ₹2 crore as the first installment on October 10, 2024. Later, through various excuses and pressure tactics, the accused extracted more money from her—₹1 crore on November 19, 2024, ₹25 lakh on October 27, 2024, and ₹75 lakh on October 30, 2024.
A case has now been registered, and investigations are underway.
