Everyone should get benefit of public welfare schemes of the government: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav
bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that all the MLAs should work dedicatedly for the development of their respective assembly constituencies. We all have to worry about the public works being done on time. Therefore, all the MLAs should make a master plan for the next 5 years for their assembly, so that the area can develop in a planned manner. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the local public representatives and officials virtually connected in the review meeting of Gwalior and Chambal divisions at Samatva Bhavan (Chief Minister’s residence) today. Social Justice and Disabled Welfare, Horticulture and Food Processing Minister Mr. Narayan Singh Kushwaha, New and Renewable Energy Minister Mr. Rakesh Shukla, regional legislator Ms. Sarla Rawat, Additional Chief Secretary in Chief Minister’s Office Dr. Rajesh Rajoura, Additional Chief Secretary in-charge of Gwalior Division Mr. Ashok Varnwal, Additional Chief Secretary in-charge of Chambal Division Mr. Manu Shrivastava, Additional Chief Secretary Higher Education Mr. Anupam Rajan, Principal Secretary Mr. Sanjay Shukla, Principal Secretary Mr. Deepali Rastogi, Principal Secretary Mr. Vivek Porwal and other officials were present in the meeting.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that our government is fully committed to providing better services to the public by giving priority to development works. Any kind of indifference will not be accepted in this. He thoroughly reviewed the ongoing and pending development works in both the divisions and said that the construction work should be completed on time, so that the general public can get the facilities on time.
Spread the public welfare campaign to the masses Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Jankalyan Abhiyan is being run in the state from 11 December to 26 January 2025. Adopting the spirit of ‘Aapki Sarkar-Aapke Dwar’, the government has launched a campaign to reach out to the people. All MLAs and officers should ensure that the benefits of the government’s public welfare schemes reach the affected people. For this, all MLAs and officers should go door-to-door and observe the progress of the campaign themselves. He directed the officers to alert their departmental field staff and ensure that no eligible person is deprived of the benefits of government services, facilities, schemes and development programs.
Get the pending payments of workers of Gwalior’s JC Mills done immediately Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that information has been received about the pending payment of workers of JC Mills of Gwalior. Collector Gwalior and the concerned revenue officer should complete the necessary proceedings as soon as possible and provide these workers their pending payment. He said that no worker of JC Mills should be deprived of his rightful rights or claim payment. All collectors should be careful, negligence will not be tolerated Chief Minister Dr. Yadav took cognizance of the borewell accident in Raghogarh of Guna district and sought information from the Collector Guna. He said that the death of a child due to falling in a borewell is very sad. All the collectors should ensure that such accidents do not happen again. The government will not tolerate any kind of negligence. He instructed all the collectors to close the open borewells even in private premises. He said that they should keep their field staff alert and also spread public awareness in the society so that borewells are not left open.
Proper management of cow sheds Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has given instructions to ensure adequate supply of fodder for cows. Nagarpalikas and municipal corporations should make proper management of small cow shelters in their respective areas. The state government will make arrangements for the management of big cow shelters. Additional Chief Secretary in charge will review on January 8 in Gwalior On the suggestions put forward by the public representatives of Gwalior division, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Additional Chief Secretary in-charge of Gwalior division, Shri Ashok Barnwal will hold a meeting in Gwalior on 8 January 2025. All public representatives should submit their demands in writing. The government will take appropriate decision after considering all the demands. He said that now divisional officers of the Finance Department will also participate in the divisional level meetings. These officers will be able to present their views and suggestions in financial matters.
