Every suggestion and proposal for the development of players will be accepted: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav
Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the achievements of the young players of the state in the Asiad and Olympic Games are commendable. While improving the management for the development of sports and players, the state government will accept the suggestions and proposals received and implement them in letter and spirit. Players’ coaches i.e. sports trainers will also be eligible for promotion like normal teachers. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that sports is also a part of the curriculum in the new education policy. Efforts will be made to encourage budding players. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav was addressing the National Youth Day program at Kushabhau Thackeray Convention Center (Minto Hall). Chief Minister Dr. Yadav congratulated and congratulated all the players and coaches who received the awards. On the occasion of Youth Day, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav and other guests listened to the address given by Prime Minister Modi at the National Youth Day program in Nashik at Kushabhau Thakre Auditorium.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that sports have a special place in Indian culture. In ancient times, activities like archery had a place in the Swayamvar. Swami Vivekananda ji considered sports essential for the youth. He spoke at the World Religion Conference in Chicago during that difficult time when India was called a country of conservative people and snake charmers. The reality is that the heights of India’s culture are greater than the heights of the Himalayas. Today, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi, we are reaching Gaganyaan from Chandrayaan. Our vehicles can also reach Sun God (Aditya). The 21st century will belong to India, this is not an imagination.
Describing the work of construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya as glorious, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Lord Ram was an ideal son, an ideal father and an ideal ruler. He had respect for nature. There was love for forest dwellers and humans as well as wild animals. While Swami Vivekananda took the characteristics of Indian culture to the world, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is leaving an indelible mark with every action. He worked to deliver the Covid vaccine not only to his countrymen but also to other countries to save the lives of the citizens. Recently he made his trip to Lakshadweep historic. The immense possibilities of tourism can be realized here. This month, people going for tourism in other places of the world have canceled their trips and started going to Lakshadweep.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav honored young entrepreneurs doing excellent work in various fields. These talented youth include Sakshi Bhardwaj awarded with National Youth Award, Ninad Adhikari awarded with All India Radio in Santoor playing, Ishaan Shukla in the field of writing and Deepanshi Vajpayee in the field of craftsmanship. Medal winning players and coaches of international level competitions were also honored in the programme. Among these players is Arjun Awardee in Para-Keno sport. Prachi Yadav gets Rs 1 crore 50 lakh and gold medalist in horse riding in Asian Games 2023 Ku. Sudipti Hajela was awarded a prize money of Rs 1 crore.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav congratulated the three silver medal winning players of Asian Games 2023, Ms. Neha Thakur (Sailing), Ms. Preeti Rajak (Shooting) and Shri Kapil Parmar (Judo) were given prize money of Rs 50 lakh each. Five other players were given a prize money of Rs 25 lakh each. These include Shri Dronacharya Awardee Shri Shivendra Singh (hockey) and four bronze medal winners of Asian Games 2023. The bronze medal winning players include Mr. Arjun Singh (Kayaking-Canoeing), Mr. Manish Kaurav (Para Canoe), Ms. Rubina Francis (Para Shooting) and Mr. Gajendra Singh (Para Canoe). Apart from this, Arjun Awardee in Hockey. Sushila Chanu was also given a memento. Many former players and coaches of international level were present in the program. These included Shri Dalveer Singh, Sameer Dad, Shivendra Singh, Manoj Jha, P.N. Prakash, Bhagwan Singh etc. are included.
