The state government has resumed the payment of EV subsidy for those who bought the vehicle in 2022 and were waiting for the subsidy. The process of this subsidy started under the central government scheme had stopped for some time, but now it has started again.
More than 100 crores have been paid, now the remaining 90 crores will be paid- The state government has already distributed subsidy of more than Rs 100 crore. But due to lack of budget, the payment was stopped for some time. Now the government has released Rs 30 crore to the Transport Department, so that the subsidy can be paid till 2023. The remaining amount of about Rs 90 crore will also be paid in a phased manner. This will provide relief to all those who were waiting for subsidy for their electric or hybrid vehicle.
Submit the required documents to get your subsidy- The RTO office of Raipur has asked for some important documents from the people registering the vehicle in 2022. These include RC of the vehicle, copy of Aadhar card and bank details (passbook or cancelled cheque). These documents have to be submitted at counter number 21 located at Ravanbhatha in Raipur. Those who have not yet received the subsidy can quickly submit their documents and avail the subsidy. The government says that now the subsidy payment will be completed soon without any interruption.
