Entertainment News : ‘Yoddha’ shows its strength and ‘Shaitan’ crosses 80 crores

Like every week, this week too the theaters were buzzing with new films. On one hand, many films were already doing well at the box office, while on the other hand, the audience saw the magic of two more new films in the theatre. This Friday, two films, Siddharth Malhotra’s ‘Yodha’ and Adah Sharma’s ‘Bastar The Naxal Story’, were released in theatres, which also received good response from the audience. At the same time, Ajay Devgan’s ‘Shaitan’, which was released last week, is still strong at the box office.

The film ‘Yodha’ directed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha was released in theaters on March 15. Raashi Khanna and Disha Patani were also seen in the film along with Siddharth Malhotra. In the film, Siddharth plays the role of a soldier who is on a mission to save a hijacked plane. The film received good response from the audience on the first day. The film earned Rs 4.25 crore at the box office on the first day. It is expected that the film will benefit from the weekend and will earn more in the coming days.

Bastar the naxal story
Fans were eagerly waiting for Ada Sharma’s film ‘Bastar The Naxal Story’ produced by Vipul Amritlal Shah and directed by Sudipto Sen. The film also stars Indira Tiwari in the lead role along with actress Ada. The film was released in theaters yesterday on 15 March. The film opened its account at Rs 50 lakh on the first day. Regarding the film, it is expected that like ‘The Kerala Story’, it will also grow at a slow pace and earn money. At present, it will be clear on the weekend how well the film is performing.

It has been more than a week since the release of Ajay Devgan and R Madhavan’s film ‘Shaitan’. The film completed eight days at the box office. The budget of this film revolving around black magic is around Rs 65 crore. The film is directed by Vikas Bahl. The film had earned Rs 14.75 crore on the first day. Whereas on Friday the film did a business of Rs 4.50 crore. There is a continuous decline in the film’s earnings. The total collection of ‘Shaitan’ so far has been Rs 84.25 crore.

Yami Gautam’s film ‘Article 370’ still continues to dominate the box office. Directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale, the film performed brilliantly at the box office.
