Last week, Bollywood actress Esha Deol surprised everyone by announcing her separation from Bharat Takhtani. After 12 years of marriage and two children, the couple announced their separation through a joint statement. The former love birds shared that they have decided to part their ways in a mutual and amicable manner. However, as co-parents, the best interests of their daughters Radhya and Miraya will remain of utmost importance to them. Meanwhile, news has come out that Isha’s father and veteran actor Dharmendra is saddened by this decision of his daughter. Heiman hopes his daughter will reconsider separating from Bharat.

A media report quoted a source as saying, ‘Dharam Paaji is not against separation, but wants Isha to reconsider her decision. Both Isha and Bharat respect Dharmendra a lot. Bharat Deol is like a son to the family, while Esha is the apple of father Dharmendra’s eye and he wants her to always be happy. However, this will also affect Isha and Bharat’s daughters, that is why Dharam Paaji wants them to reconsider their decision.

Dharmendra is also worried about how Isha and Bharat’s separation will affect his granddaughters Miraya and Radhya. The report reads, ‘Isha and Bharat have two daughters, Radhya and Miraya. They are very close to their grandparents. Separation has a bad effect on the children and hence Dharamji feels that if the marriage can be saved then he should do so.
