Aamir recently confirmed the release date of ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ during an event. After eight years, the actor is planning to release his film on the occasion of Christmas. He last released his blockbuster film ‘Dangal’ on Christmas in the year 2016.

Aamir will be seen in a cameo role
Talking about the release date of his upcoming film ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’, Aamir said, ‘I have just started the shooting of my upcoming film, whose title is ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’. We are planning to release it by the end of this year on the occasion of Christmas. It’s an entertaining film, I like the story. Although, you will not be able to see me as the lead actor in this film, but I am doing some small roles in it. He further said that let’s see how the audience reacts after watching this film.

Genelia Deshmukh will be seen in the lead role
In the year 2007, Aamir Khan’s film ‘Taare Zameen Par’ was released. This film was a huge hit at the box office. Aamir Khan appeared in the role of a teacher in this film. Now Aamir has started shooting for his next film ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’. Recently, while talking to the media about this film, Aamir said, ‘I am going to meet you all in a different form in Sitare Zameen Par. This character is a very emotional character. Hope you will like this film also. According to reports, ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ also stars Genelia Deshmukh in the lead role. This is Genelia and Aamir’s first film together.
