The Chief Minister talked about providing training facilities for e-office to officers and employees, so that it can be implemented effectively in all departments. It is noteworthy that the Chhattisgarh government has implemented the e-office system in a phased manner with the aim of promoting e-governance and bringing transparency in government functioning. Earlier it was started in the General Administration Department and now it has been extended to all the departments of the Ministry. So far, 16 department head offices have been connected to the e-office system and the process of implementing it at the district level has also been expedited. Sakti is the first district where e-office has been fully implemented.
Chief Minister Sai said that the e-office system will bring unprecedented improvement in the speed, efficiency and transparency of government work. This initiative will bring automation in government processes, which will make tracking of files easier, speed up decision making and curb corruption. He directed the Chief Secretary to ensure digital approval of files in all departments, so that unnecessary delays in government work are eliminated and administrative decisions can be implemented quickly. The state government is constantly striving to strengthen digital governance at every level. Taking forward Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Digital India” campaign, the Chhattisgarh government has effectively implemented e-governance, which will make all government services in the state more transparent, smooth and quick. The Chief Minister said that e-governance has been adopted as an effective tool of good governance in Chhattisgarh, which will make government services reach the public quickly and easily.
