Energy Minister Tomar reached various settlements of Gwalior suburb on the third day of the campaign
Bhopal. A special campaign is being run by Energy Minister Shri Pradyuman Singh Tomar for the cleanliness of the settlements of Gwalior suburb and to solve the basic problems. On the third day of this campaign, Shri Tomar reached various settlements of this area and got to know the reality of cleanliness and problems of electricity, sewer and drinking water etc. He expressed displeasure over finding sewer blockage in Mewati Mohalla. Also, he himself stood and got the sewer cleaned. Shri Tomar also instructed the Municipal Corporation officials to make this sewer line smooth.
Energy Minister Shri Tomar started the journey from Sheel Nagar on the third day of the campaign. The journey was concluded by reaching Ramaji Ka Pura from Sheel Nagar via Chandranagar, Koteshwar Temple, Indira Colony, Sadashiv Nagar, Gurunanak Nagar, Mewati Mohalla, Bahodapur, Kishanbagh, Lakshmipuram, Kishanbagh, Gargaj Colony, 20 Point Nagar and Islampura.
During the visit, Minister Shri Tomar himself cleaned the Indira Colony by sweeping and called upon the local residents to cooperate in keeping their houses as well as the streets of the locality clean. He also directed the concerned officials to make proper arrangements for cleanliness keeping in mind the Diwali festival and to ensure that there is no darkness in any colony, the faulty street lights should be replaced immediately.
During the visit, Energy Minister Shri Tomar told the local residents that they should not throw the garbage of their houses outside but put it in the garbage vehicle of the Municipal Corporation. He instructed the Municipal Corporation officials that the garbage vehicle should reach all the colonies regularly. During the visit, Shri Tomar instructed the officials of the Electricity Department to remove the grass and vines from the transformers and install nets where they are not installed.
