Rural and urban primary health centers, community health centers and district hospitals get new medical officers

-On the instructions of Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, contract appointment orders of a total of 83 medical officers have been issued in Raipur, Durg, Bilaspur and Surguja divisions

Raipur 01 December 2024: Ensuring the availability of adequate human resources for strengthening health services in the state and delivery of health services, posting orders have been issued under the National Health Mission under the instructions of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai and guidance of Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, providing appointment of medical officers on contractual posts.

31 medical officers have been appointed in government hospitals of Raipur division of the state, 22 medical officers in Bilaspur division, 03 medical officers in Surguja division and 27 medical officers in Durg division. Orders for posting of these new contract medical officers have been issued today by the National Health Mission, Chhattisgarh. These doctors have been posted in various rural and urban primary health centers, community health centers and district hospitals of the respective district. The posting of new contract medical officer will speed up quick treatment and promote medical facilities.
