bhopal: Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla has said that education is essential for the development of any person, society or nation. Unless people are educated, they will neither be able to understand their rights nor perform their duties properly. Education paves the way for new thinking, new technology and self-reliance. It is very important to be educated in the modern era. Education is the basis of progress. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla was addressing the laptop amount transfer ceremony under Pratibhasin Vidyarthi Protsahan Yojana at Saraswati Uchchatar Madhyamik Vidyalay Shahdol. He inaugurated the program by garlanding the photograph of Maa Saraswati and lighting a lamp. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla said that under the Pratibha Vidyarthi Protsahan Yojana, the state government provides an amount of Rs 25,000 to the students who score more than 75 percent in the MP Board examination of class 12th to buy a laptop. He said that this laptop will prove to be very helpful for the student to pursue higher education and further studies. He said that every possible help is being provided so that students from weaker sections can also get good posts like Collector, Superintendent of Police, Engineer, Doctor, financial crisis will not be allowed for education under any circumstances. Students should study hard and with dedication. Even if they fail, they should not be disappointed, if they find the reason for that failure and improve it, then success is definitely achieved.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla said that education with values is a boon for the society. For this, parents and teachers should play their important role. He said that the Central and State Government together are creating new dimensions in the field of development. Various schemes run by the Central and State Government are empowering all sections of the society including the poor, women, farmers, youth. He said that Shahdol division is rapidly moving towards development, facilities like medical college, engineering college, university etc. have been expanded in Shahdol, so that the people of Shahdol division do not have to go to other cities and other facilities will also be expanded keeping in view the needs of the people. MLA Mrs. Manisha Singh, Shri Jaisingh Maravi along with local public representatives, departmental officers, teachers, parents, students were present.
