Economic activities will get a boost with the strengthening of road and rail connectivity: Deputy Chief Minister Shukla
Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla has said that Sidhi-Singrauli National Highway-39 is very important for the economic development of the region. The inauguration of the Gopad river bridge will facilitate transportation, save time and promote economic activities. The districts of Vindhya have a deep connection in the economic sector and work as complements to each other. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla said that economic activities get a boost with the strengthening of road and rail connectivity in any area. A large amount of fly ash is transported from Singrauli to the cement factories of Rewa and Satna. The construction of this bridge will now give impetus to economic development. Earlier, Shri Shukla formally inaugurated the bridge.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav are working towards increasing connectivity in all areas. He directed to complete the construction work of 4 lanes of Sidhi-Singrauli National Highway-39 on priority. He said that soon the work of 4 lane road will also be started between Rewa-Sidhi, which will provide seamless 4-lane connectivity from Jhansi to Ranchi, which will help in the development of the region. He said that the Rewa-Sidhi-Singrauli rail line is also being reviewed regularly. The target is to reach Sidhi by June 2025 and action is being taken as per the action plan.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla said that there are immense possibilities of development in Vindhya region. Vindhya region is naturally rich and has abundant mineral wealth. Regional Industry Conclave is being organized in Rewa on 23 October under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, in which many major companies of the country will participate. This conclave will bring industrial revolution in Vindhya region and will accelerate development.
