Dwarika’s dream came true, happiness came in the family after construction of a permanent house
Raipur. The poor and homeless families are getting a roof over their heads through the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. The dreams of such people are coming true who could only imagine a permanent house. Dwarika Rajak of village Daspur, adjacent to the district headquarters Kanker, is one of them who has realized the dream of a new house for his family with the help of his hard work and Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. He runs a cloth press shop in village Sarangpal. His wife works as a labourer and his son, working as a mason, is now living in a permanent house with his family.
Recalling the old days, Mr. Dwarika Rajak tells that earlier he used to live in a kutcha house. During the rainy season, there was often water dripping and dampness in the ground, along with the danger of poisonous creatures. After getting the money from the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, he has now built a new, permanent and safe house for himself. His family is living happily in this new house. Mr. Rajak has expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Mr. Vishnudev Sai for his new home. He says that the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana has not only given him a house but has also increased the happiness of his family. This scheme is a boon for poor families, which is giving them a concrete roof and an opportunity to live a respectable life.
