The Vishnudev Sai government of Chhattisgarh did a major administrative surgery this evening and not only changed the collectors of three districts but also made a big change in public relations. Dr Ravi Mittal has been made the new commissioner in place of Public Relations Commissioner Mayank Srivastava.
Ravi Mittal is a 2016 batch IAS. Jashpur was his first district as a collector. He was posted in Jashpur for about two years. Ravi is considered a soft spoken, balanced and result-oriented IAS.
He was made the collector of Jashpur district during the Congress rule. But due to his undisputed image, it was considered better to continue him there even after the formation of the new government. Since Jashpur is the home district of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, he was aware of Ravi Mittal’s working.
