Raipur, 13 December 2024 The government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the country and Vishnu Dev Sai in Chhattisgarh is working diligently to serve the people. As a result of this, progressive development is taking place in the entire country and the state. Due to the double engine government, people are getting double benefits. Today India is the fifth largest economic power in the world. In the next five years, we will emerge as the third largest economy in the world. Under the able leadership of the Prime Minister, 25 crore people of the country have come out of poverty. Union Health and Family Welfare Minister J.P. Nadda said this while addressing the people in the Janadesh Parba program organized at Science College Ground in Raipur today. Union Minister Mr. Nadda inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of various development works worth Rs 1124 crore in the program. Referring to the achievements of Chhattisgarh government in one year in Janadesh Parba, Union Minister Mr. Nadda said that the state government is working with full responsibility in public interest on its own initiative. On the second day of the formation of the government, in the cabinet meeting, the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana was approved for more than 18 lakh needy people of the state. As per Modi’s guarantee, paddy is being purchased from farmers here at Rs 3100 per quintal. Farmers have also been paid their due bonus of Rs 3716 crore for two years of paddy. Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Dev Sai announced in Janadesh Parba that from now on, every year from 3 December to 13 December, ‘Janadesh Parba’ will be celebrated. Chhattisgarh is completing 25 years in the coming year. This is also the centenary year of the state maker Bharat Ratna Atal ji. He announced to celebrate the silver jubilee year of Chhattisgarh as ‘Atal Nirman Varsh’. Sai said that as Prime Minister, Atal ji laid a network of roads in the country. Taking inspiration from that, we will give priority to infrastructure development in our silver jubilee year. In the next three years also, we will work on different themes.
Chief Minister Sai, while addressing the Janadesh Parb, said that last year your double engine government has deposited 49 thousand crore rupees in the accounts of farmer brothers. In our first three months itself, we started giving the benefit of Mahtari Vandan Yojana to the mothers and sisters of the state with priority. So far, an amount of Rs 6,530 crore has been sent in 10 installments of Mahtari Vandan Yojana in the accounts of 70 lakh mothers and sisters. We send this amount on the first date and as soon as the amount comes into the accounts of mothers and sisters, their faces light up with pride. Chief Minister Sai said that the values of Ram Rajya are the values of good governance for us. We have ensured good governance at every level of administration. We formed the Good Governance and Convergence Department to incorporate the values of good governance in the system. Transparency is most essential for good governance and for this, digital governance has been started. To eliminate red tape, we have started the e-office system. In this, the note sheet moves forward in digital medium. This also sets the time limit and also fixes accountability. Chief Minister Sai said that without the development of Bastar and Surguja, the development of Chhattisgarh cannot even be thought of. We have worked to increase the income of forest produce collectors. We have increased the amount of tendu leaf collection from Rs 4 thousand per standard sack to Rs 5.5 thousand. On the day of Tribal Pride Day, we announced to give five thousand rupees Samman Nidhi to Baiga, Gunia, Sirha etc. of the state. He said that we are building a tourism corridor in Bastar. The United Nations Tourism Organization has included Dhudmaras village of Kanger Valley among the 20 selected villages of the world. Bastar and Chhattisgarh have come on the world tourism map. Surguja division is also making its place on the world tourism map. Recently, Madheshwar Pahad Shivling of Jashpur has been recognized as the largest natural replica in the world. He said that we have made Guru Ghasidas Tamor Pingla the third largest tiger reserve of the country. This will promote eco-tourism. With the start of air connectivity in Surguja and Bastar, along with rapid development in these areas, the way has now opened for tourists from the country and abroad to reach here. After the completion of construction work of all the approved roads in Chhattisgarh under the successful leadership of Modi ji, the road network of the state will become like developed countries in the next two years. The Chief Minister said that we have achieved the biggest success on the Maoist front. A year ago it was difficult for anyone to even think that the scourge of Maoism could be eradicated. More than 200 Maoists were killed in a year. Through the Niyyad Nella Nar scheme, the light of development has again reached the villages freed from the roots of Maoism. We have prepared a new industry policy, under which five lakh jobs will be created in the next five years through an investment of Rs. 2.5 lakh crore. We have started the recruitment process for thousands of posts in government services.
