Divisional Commissioner’s inspection continues, SDM and Tehsil office, checked records

Raipur. Divisional Commissioner Shri Mahadev Kavre today conducted a surprise inspection of Raipur’s Sub-Divisional Revenue Officer Office and Tehsil Office. Shri Kavre reached the SDM office at 10 am and sought information about revenue cases from the officers and employees present. He instructed the officers to settle disputed and undisputed revenue related cases soon so that the number of pending cases is reduced and people get convenience. Shri Kavre asked to listen to the problems of the people coming to the offices sensitively and solve them soon so that people do not have to visit the offices again and again. He said that only when necessary, the parties should be called and quick orders should be passed on the cases. The Divisional Commissioner also directed to settle the partition by running a campaign and to resolve the demarcation cases within the time limit. He asked to get the broken chairs, tables and furniture in the office repaired immediately. Shri Kavre also instructed to put up plaques displaying the designation and name on the tables of the employees.

During the inspection of the SDM office, the Divisional Commissioner suggested the concerned officers to call the applicants by making a time table. He also inspected the incoming-outgoing branch and instructed to keep the records in order and maintain the stock register. The Divisional Commissioner also suggested verification of the stock. During the inspection of the Nazul branch, he instructed to keep the cash book and registration register in order. The Divisional Commissioner also observed the cases pending for orders for a long time and issued a show cause notice to SDM Shri Nandkumar Choubey for keeping the orders pending without any proper reason.

Commissioner Shri Kavre inspected the registers and documents maintained in various branches including Kanungo, Finance, Nazir Branch, WBN, Record Room in Raipur Tehsil Office. The Divisional Commissioner thoroughly examined the cases of the Tehsildar Court and issued a show cause notice to the Tehsildar when many cases were found not registered online. During the inspection, Shri Kavre directed the officers and employees to settle the cases of nomination, demarcation etc. within the stipulated time limit. He also asked to make income, caste and residence certificates within the stipulated time limit. Divisional Commissioner Shri Kavre gave necessary instructions to the Tehsildar regarding demarcation, encroachment, management, division of map etc. He also gave instructions to work properly in WBN of Tehsil office, make necessary entries after maintenance of registers and review it from time to time by the Tehsildar.
