Disabled people make their place in society on the basis of their ability, capability, struggle and positivity – Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Divyangjans make their place in the society on the basis of their ability , competence , struggle and positivity. This self-confidence gives them a special identity. The Madhya Pradesh government is committed to encourage and support them at every level. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that even if God reduces one quality in our body , but in return he also increases many qualities. Divyangjans are important parts of the society. They have qualifications in their respective fields. The state government has given additional 2 percent reservation in government jobs (direct recruitment) for Divyangjans. The spirit of the government has been Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah. Many welfare schemes are being run for Divyangjans. The government is always ready to remove their problems. The attitude of the society has changed positively due to the word Divyang given by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the program of distribution of appointment letters and other benefits to Divyangjan in the auditorium of Pandit Khushilal Sharma Government Ayurvedic College and Institute.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that God has designed our birth on earth. God has also given us an opportunity to do some good deeds for the needy. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, citing the example of great poets Surdas , Ashtavakra , Sakurat , Swami Rambhadracharya , famous musician Shri Ravindra Jain, said that these great personalities contributed to the society and made a place in history not by physical beauty and physical perfection but by making important contributions in specialized fields.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav provided appointment letters to Divyangjan of Public Works , Archaeology and Water Resources departments. He also distributed smartphones and motorized bicycles to the beneficiaries. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav released the booklet developed in Braille script of Disabled Rights Act 2016. Public Works Minister Mr. Rakesh Singh and Social Justice Minister Mr. Narayan Singh Kushwah, Bhopal Mayor Mrs. Malti Rai and MLA Mr. Bhagwan Das Sabnani were specially present in the program. Divyang students presented a welcome song on this occasion. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav and guests were welcomed by presenting Tulsi plant. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav greeted and wished Public Works Minister Mr. Rakesh Singh on his birthday today.
2600 Divyangjans were recruited in the state
Social Justice and Social Welfare Minister Shri Narayan Singh Kushwaha said that Chief Minister Dr. Yadav is determined to preserve the culture of the state. Under his leadership, the state government is running many schemes for the poor , farmers (annadaataa) , youth and women welfare. Many welfare works are also being done for the disabled. He said that Chief Minister Dr. Yadav’s guidance reflects his sensitivity. Disabled people are also being given the benefits of education-training , skill development , scholarships etc. There is a provision of 4 percent reservation for disabled people across the country , but Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has given them 6 percent reservation in jobs. Disabled people have been recruited on 2600 posts in the state. Camps are being set up at the district level for distribution of artificial limbs so that the disabled do not have to wander for artificial limbs and to ensure their convenience and ease. For this, the responsibility has been entrusted to Mahavir Sanstha of Rajasthan.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav’s resolve to give everyone the right to live with dignity
Public Works Minister Shri Rakesh Singh said that Chief Minister Dr. Yadav is very sensitive towards the disabled. He is always ready to communicate with the disabled. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has resolved that everyone should get the right to live with respect and no person of the society should have to live life at the mercy of anyone. When the government is sensitive, it understands its responsibility very well. Today, getting an appointment for a disabled person is a very happy occasion for him and his entire family. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav is taking India’s ancient culture forward. Along with this, development and public welfare works along with heritage are being completed on priority. Senior officials and a large number of disabled people were present in the program.
In the program, appointment letters were given to 33 sub-engineers of the Public Works Department, 10 of the Archaeology Department and 5 fourth class employees of the Water Resources Department. Along with this, equipment was provided to 97 beneficiaries as per their requirement.
