As Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh prepares for his concert in Hyderabad this Friday, the Telangana government has sent a notice to the event organizers. The notice clearly states that songs that promote alcohol, drugs, and violence are not allowed to be performed during the concert.This concert is part of Diljit’s Dil-Luminati Tour, which will take him to ten cities across India. The notice was prompted by a complaint from a resident of Chandigarh and was issued by the District Welfare Officer from the Department of Welfare of Women, Children, Disabled, and Senior Citizens in Rangareddy.The notice specifically prohibits Diljit Dosanjh from performing any songs that promote alcohol, drugs, and violence during his live show scheduled for November 15 at Cyberabad. Additionally, the notice restricts him from having children on stage during his performance. It also mentioned that loud sounds and flashing lights at the concert could be harmful to children.The complaint included video evidence claiming that Diljit had performed songs promoting alcohol, drugs, and violence at a live event held at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi last month, which was noted in the official notice.In the meantime, a video shared on Diljit’s social media shows that he has arrived in the city. He visited the historic Charminar and also took time to offer prayers at a temple and a Gurudwara while he was there.
