Raipur. Deputy Chief Minister and Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Vijay Sharma reviewed the Panchayat and Rural Development Department at the Ministry (Mahanadi Bhawan) here today. He reviewed various schemes of the department including Mahatma Gandhi NREGA, National Rural Livelihood Mission, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin, Swachh Bharat Mission Gramin, Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Janman Yojana and other departmental schemes. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Sharma gave instructions to speed up the livelihood promotion work of women included under the National Rural Livelihood Mission. He asked to make a concrete action plan to complete the houses of special backward tribes under the Pradhan Mantri Janman Yojana within the time limit. Shri Sharma gave instructions to speed up the departmental work and ensure that the benefits of all the schemes reach the last person.
