Raipur: Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao today attended the oath taking ceremony of the newly elected office bearers of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) Raipur Branch held at Babylon Hotel Inn in Raipur. On this occasion, he congratulated and wished the newly appointed office bearers. In the ceremony, Saw said that Chhattisgarh is a unique state of India. The country and the world are not fully aware of the strength and potential of the state. But Chhattisgarh is a state with immense possibilities. He further said that the state is using its potential well. No one can stop Chhattisgarh from becoming developed in the future. We have to use the mineral wealth by setting up plants here, so that the youth can get maximum employment. Saw said that the Saw government is working to make Chhattisgarh the leading state of the country. To make the state number one, a new industry policy has been made, which has been praised across the country. He said that there are a lot of possibilities for industries in the state. The government has made a new policy keeping in mind the needs of the entire Chhattisgarh. Chartered accountants can play a good role in the development of Chhattisgarh with their contribution. They can make the state economically strong.

Deputy Chief Minister Sao said that we have created a Vision 2047 document. We have started building a developed Chhattisgarh from 2024. Today India has become the 5th largest economy in the world. CA colleagues have a big contribution in this. When GST came in the country, confusion was spread in the country and a negative atmosphere was created in the name of GST. During this time, Chartered Accountants handled the environment, presented the benefits of GST and the positive things related to it to the country, for this, all deserve congratulations. Former President APJ Abdul Kalam had rightly said that Chartered Accountants have played a huge role in strengthening the country’s economy. Now the same work has to be done for Chhattisgarh. Hope, our CA colleagues will live up to the expectations in the development of the state. State BJP Treasurer Nandan Jain, ICAI President Vikas Golchha, Vice President Rashmi Verma, Secretary Ravi Jain, Treasurer Sanskar Aggarwal, Rishikesh Yadav, Sheetal Kala, Aishi Garg, Dinesh Aggarwal and other CAs were present in the function.
