Delhi beat RCB by 6 wickets: Rahul’s brilliant performance

In the 24th match of IPL 2025 played on Thursday, 10 April, Delhi Capitals defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 6 wickets to register their fourth win of the season. This defeat is the second consecutive defeat for RCB at their home ground. Delhi had a bad start in the match, but thanks to KL Rahul’s brilliant 93 runs, Delhi won the match.
RCB innings: Good start, then collapse – RCB batted first and scored 163 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs. Initially, Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli batted well, but later the team’s batsmen performed disappointingly. Tim David played an unbeaten innings of 37 runs off 20 balls in the end to take the team’s score beyond 160. Among Delhi’s bowlers, Kuldeep Yadav and Vipraaj Nigam took 2-2 wickets each.
Delhi’s brilliant chase – Chasing the target of 164 runs, Delhi did not have a good start. Openers Du Plessis and Jack Fraser were dismissed early, and the team was down to 50 runs for 4 wickets. But then KL Rahul showed amazing performance. He scored an unbeaten 93 off 53 balls with the help of 6 sixes and 7 fours. Tristan Stubbs also played an unbeaten innings of 38 runs and together they led the team to victory.
Change in the points table – With this win, Delhi has 8 points and they have come to second place in the points table. RCB is in third place with 6 points. KL Rahul was adjudged the Player of the Match for his brilliant performance. The match was very exciting and till the end, there was a tough competition between the two teams.
