Crowd gathered in Ayurveda College Hospital for Swarnaprashan and Bal Raksha Kit
Raipur. 2216 children were given Swarnaprashan on Thursday in Government Ayurveda College Hospital, Raipur to improve the immunity, digestion power, memory power, physical strength and protection from diseases of children. Bal Raksha Kits made of five medicines were also distributed to 300 children to prevent various diseases and increase immunity. Swarnaprashan is given to children between zero to 16 years of age every Pushya Nakshatra date by the Kaumarbhritya Department of Ayurveda College Hospital. Along with Swarnaprashan, Dr. Lavkesh Chandravanshi also tested the health of the children.
Swarnaprashan was done in the Government Ayurveda College Hospital campus under the guidance of Director of AYUSH Department Ms. Iffat Ara, Principal Prof. Dr. G.R. Chaturvedi, Hospital Superintendent Prof. Dr. Praveen Kumar Joshi and Head of Kaumarbhritya Department Prof. Dr. Neeraj Agarwal. Swarnaprashan coordinator Dr. Lavekesh Chandravanshi said that it is very beneficial for the all-round development of children. Lecturer of the Kaumarbhritya department of the college Dr. Satyavati Rathiya and postgraduate and undergraduate students make significant contributions to it every month. On other Pushya Nakshatra dates of this year, 1235 children were given Swarnaprashan on 25 January, 1420 on 21 February, 1720 on 18 March, 1410 on 16 April, 1256 on 13 May, 1802 on 10 June, 1342 on 8 July, 1370 on 3 August, 1660 on 30 August and 2046 children on 26 September by the Ayurveda College Hospital.
