CRISP should become the main institution for providing skilled human resources to industries: Chief Minister
Raipur. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the Center for Research and Industrial Staff Performance (CRISP) should conduct versatile training programs as per the requirement of new industrial units being set up in the state. These training programs should be employment oriented. Students of engineering colleges and ITI should also get the benefit of these training programs. CRISP should become the main institution for providing skilled human resources to industries. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the general body meeting of the CRISP institution at Samatva Bhavan located at the Chief Minister’s residence today.
Higher Education and Technical Education Minister Shri Inder Singh Parmar, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Minister Chetan Kashyap, School Education Minister Uday Pratap Singh, Minister of State for Skill Development and Employment (Independent Charge) Gautam Tetwal, Managing Director of CRISP Dr. Shrikant Patil and Director Amol Vaidya were also present in the meeting. Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Prahlad Patel and Scheduled Caste Welfare Minister Shri Nagar Singh Chauhan joined the meeting virtually.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that training should be given by CRISP in selected disciplines. Design such courses which are useful for the youth. CRISP is an important institution, which has contributed in making the staff of the Central and State Government departments efficient. CRISP should conduct employment-oriented training programs in the interest of the state. Today, there is a need for training programs in many areas including pharmaceutical, mobile repairing, which should be fulfilled through CRISP.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that a time-bound program of training should be prepared on a large scale. In the meeting, Secretary Technical Education Mr. M. Raghuraj told in the presentation that this autonomous institute was started in the year 1997 under the Department of Technical Education, Skill Development and Employment with the cooperation of the Government of India and the German Government. The institute has worked in the field of training, skill development, consultancy, training cum production center, ICT/software development and e-governance. Along with training of officers and employees of government institutions, assistance has been provided in the establishment and operation of Shramodaya Adarsh ITI in Bhopal. Youth were trained under PM Vishwakarma Yojana. Training programs were also organized for the major industrial institutions of the country.
Works of Sant Shiromani Ravidas Global Skills Park are in progress
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was informed about the progress of works related to Sant Shiromani Ravidas Global Skills Park, Bhopal through a presentation. It was told in the presentation that more than 100 percent of civil construction works have been completed. The process of necessary appointments and training of teachers has been completed. Installation works have been completed. Training related to machines is in process. Similarly, various facilities have been developed in 10 divisional ITIs.
