Bhopal. Minister of State for Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development (Independent Charge) Lakhan Patel has said that cow service can give the highest place in our life. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, the work of cow protection and cow promotion is going on continuously in the state. This year our government is also celebrating the Cow Protection and Promotion Year. It is the duty of every person to give his full contribution in this field.
Minister Shri Patel inaugurated the new girls hostel of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry College in Mhow today. Minister Shri Patel visited various units of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry College, hospital, dairy farm, poultry farm, boys and girls hostel and took stock of the activities of the college. Vice Chancellor of Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary Science University, Jabalpur, Professor (Dr.) Mandeep Sharma was also present.
Minister Shri Patel talked to the students of the college and learned about their problems and solved them. He also assured to increase the honorarium of internship students. He assured to solve the problems of the college soon. Minister Shri Patel also visited the exhibition organized by the college.
Vice Chancellor Dr. Sharma said that the students of the university are bringing laurels to the university in various competitions at the national level. Member of Animal Welfare Board of India Shri Sunil Mansinka also addressed.
In the program organized in the auditorium, Dean of the college Dr. B.P. Shukla welcomed all the guests and gave information about the achievements and activities of the college. During this, University’s Estate Officer Dr. S.K. Karmore, Assistant Registrar Shri Ramkinkar, District Panchayat Member Shri Dinesh Singh Chauhan etc. were present. The program was conducted by Dr. Sandeep Nanavati and vote of thanks was given by Dr. Hemant Mehta.
