Corporation Health Department launched Dry Day Swasthya Apnao Bimari Bhagao Abhiyan in wards
Raipur. The teams of the health department of Raipur Municipal Corporation today ran the Dry Day Swasthya Apnao Bimari Bhagao Abhiyan in all the wards in the presence of ward councilors and their representatives as per the instructions of Raipur Municipal Corporation Commissioner Abinash Mishra. The Municipal Corporation Health Department appealed to make public announcements from all cleaning vehicles to make citizens aware of the mosquito-borne disease dengue. Citizens were informed about the symptoms and prevention of dengue. About 1900 houses were surveyed on Saturday Dry Day. The water filled in the window coolers of the houses was immediately emptied. Anti-larva treatment was done in the empty window coolers. The water collected in the tires and pots was immediately emptied. Citizens were appealed to take special care of the cleanliness of their homes and surroundings and not allow water to accumulate anywhere. Along with this, the process of getting the burnt Mobil oil sprayed extensively in the empty plots in all the wards and running anti-larva treatment campaigns in it continued continuously for effective control over mosquitoes in the public interest for public health safety. In this campaign, by tomorrow, 1st August 2024, all the vacant plots of all 70 wards will be covered and extensive spraying of burnt Mobil oil and anti-larva treatment campaign will be carried out in them.
