Bhopal. Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla has said that the development of Rewa region is happening at a rapid pace, due to which the pressure on the infrastructure is increasing. Continuous and well-planned expansion is being done in the infrastructure for the convenience of the citizens. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla reviewed the massive road construction works of MPRDC in Vindhya region at the Secretariat. He directed the concerned officials and construction agencies to complete the works on top priority within the time limit.
Rewa bypass four-lane road construction work will start from November
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla comprehensively reviewed the progress of Rewa bypass four-lane, Sidhi-Singrauli four-lane, Shahdol-Umaria two-lane, and Rewa-Byauhari-Tetka Mod-Shahdol road. The Deputy Chief Minister directed that the process of approvals and permissions required for the operation of the work should be completed expeditiously. It was told that the process of ROW (Right of Way) for Rewa bypass four-lane road has been completed and construction work will start in the month of November.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla directed to complete the under-construction Gopad bridge on Sidhi-Singrauli road on priority. Forest department approval is pending in the 18 km section of Rewa-Biohari road. The Deputy Chief Minister directed that the concerned departmental officers should complete all the formalities on priority for competent approval of the Forest Department. MD MPRDC Shri Avinash Lavania and departmental officers were present in the meeting.
