Consideration will be given on increasing the loan amount being provided under PM Swanidhi Yojana: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Madhya Pradesh is the first in the country in the implementation of Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Yojana. This scheme started during the Corona period has directly helped small businessmen in upgrading their employment. This scheme has also proved to be important for the economy. Small businessmen of Madhya Pradesh are serious about returning the amount received for the scheme. They are being provided the amount in the form of cash back. Currently, loan amounts of 10 thousand, 20 thousand and 50 thousand are being provided in three phases respectively. A suggestion has been received to give an amount of up to one lakh rupees after repaying the loan amount. A decision will be taken after considering giving more loan amount to such businessmen who repay the loan amount on time with the aim of increasing the scope of their employment for incentives. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav received information about many other schemes including PM Swanidhi Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in a meeting held in the ministry today.
It was told in the meeting that under PM Swanidhi Yojana in Madhya Pradesh, 101.40 percent progress has been achieved by approving 12 lakh 34 thousand 707 applications so far. Madhya Pradesh is ahead of all the states in the implementation of the scheme. From the year 2021-22 to 2023-24, an amount of Rs 21 crore was provided to the street vendors in the form of cash back. This amount is provided to the digital on board beneficiary and digital active beneficiary. Under the PM Swanidhi Yojana, interest subsidy amount has been made available to the beneficiaries in Madhya Pradesh by the Central and State Government. Madhya Pradesh has also been awarded by the Central Government in four categories for this achievement.
Madhya Pradesh also tops in Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban)
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also got information about the progress of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban). Additional Chief Secretary, Panchayat and Rural Development Mr. Malay Shrivastava informed that Madhya Pradesh is at the first place in the country by completing the construction of 7.89 lakh houses against the target of building 9.9 lakh houses under the scheme. The progress of the scheme is 83.14 percent. The remaining 1.60 lakh houses are being completed by the end of this year. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also got information about the innovations done under the scheme. Madhya Pradesh has also received many awards in this scheme.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also got information about the implementation of Chief Minister Rural Path Vendor Loan Scheme, Jal Jeevan Mission, Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, Amrit Sarovar Yojana. It was told in the meeting that 72 thousand 965 kilometers of roads have been built in Madhya Pradesh under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana. Similarly, Madhya Pradesh is at the second place in the country in the work of building Amrit Sarovar. Chief Secretary Mrs. Veera Rana, Additional Chief Secretary Chief Minister’s Office Dr. Rajesh Rajoura, Principal Secretary Chief Minister’s Office Sanjay Kumar Shukla and other officials were present in the meeting.
