Consensus reached on opening beverage depot or warehouse in Manendragarh, supply to four districts
Raipur. The meeting of the Board of Directors of Chhattisgarh State Beverages Corporation was held today at the Excise Bhawan in Raipur. The meeting was chaired by Chhattisgarh Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal. In this meeting of the Board of Directors, various agendas of the Beverage Corporation were discussed in detail. In the meeting, first of all, a compliance report of the decisions taken in the meeting held on 21 August was presented. The financial statements of the financial year 2023-24 were also approved in the meeting. In the meeting, the work of issuing tender for housekeeping work in the warehouses of Durg and Bilaspur by the Beverage Corporation was approved, along with this, approval was also given to purchase one generator for Arsanara-Durg warehouse.
Chairman Shyam Bihari Jaiswal proposed to operate a beverage depot or warehouse in Manendragarh to ensure availability of wine in Surguja division and availability of stock in nearby districts, to which the board of directors gave its consent. With the opening of the beverage warehouse in Manendragarh, stock will be stored for the wine shops of Gaurela Pendra Marwahi, Manendragarh Chirmiri Bharatpur, Korea and Surajpur districts. Secretary Commercial Tax Excise R Sangeeta, Managing Director State Beverage Corporation Shri Shyam Dhavade, Secretary Finance Department Sharda Verma and other officials were present in the meeting.
