Conduct the survey with quality and authenticity: Deputy Chief Minister Deora

Bhopal: Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Devda has said that the state government under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav is committed to the socio-economic development of the freed, nomadic and semi-nomadic castes. Describing the welfare activities of these castes as sacred work, he said that it is worth being proud of. He said that for the economic, social and educational empowerment of the freed, nomadic and semi-nomadic communities in the state, data will be collected through a survey of these communities. Programs will be made on the basis of this data and these communities will be benefited from the public welfare schemes of the state and central government. Deputy Chief Minister Devda was addressing the inaugural session of the state level workshop on Survey-2025 of Freed, Nomadic and Semi-nomadic communities held on Wednesday at the State Animal Husbandry Training Institute. Deputy Chief Minister Devda said that an MoU has been signed between the Jan Abhiyan Parishad and the Freed, Nomadic and Semi-nomadic Welfare Department for the survey. The survey will be done with authenticity. He said that the coordinators engaged in the survey work will work with full honesty and quality. Deputy Chief Minister Devda said that this is a pious and sacred work for the upliftment of the nomadic society. Deputy Chief Minister Devda also praised the work of the Vimukta, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Welfare Department.

Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Backward Classes, Minority Welfare, Vimukta, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Welfare Krishna Gaur said that the survey is being conducted with a view to the integrated development of the families of Vimukta, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic communities. He said that in the first phase, the survey work will be done in 12 districts of the state and this work will be completed within the stipulated time limit of 3 months. After the completion of the first phase of the survey in September, the survey will be conducted in the remaining districts of the state in the second phase. He said that information about these communities will be collected from the survey and programs will be made for the development of these communities based on the information. He said that the survey team should ensure that not even a single family is left out of the survey. He said that Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has immediately agreed to the proposal given for the survey. He also expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister. In the workshop, Regional Head Nomadic Work Gaurelal praised the survey work. He said that he has been working among the Vimukta, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic communities for the last several years. He narrated many memories related to the problems of these communities based on his experiences during the work and said that a systematic work plan is necessary for the development of these communities and the survey data will be important. The workshop was also addressed by Vice President of Madhya Pradesh Jan Abhiyan Parishad Mohan Nagar, President Vimukta, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Community Development Agency Babulal Banjara. In the beginning, Principal Secretary Vimukta, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Community Development Department E. Ramesh Kumar and Executive Director Jan Abhiyan Parishad Dr. Bakul Lad gave information on the objectives of the workshop. In the workshop, Executive Director of Jan Abhiyan Parishad Dr. Bakul Lad and Director of Vimukta, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Community Development Department Neeraj Vashishth handed over the MoU document to each other. On this occasion, a poster prepared by Vimukta, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Community Department was also released.
