Complete the construction work of Sleemanabad Tunnel within the time limit: Chief Minister
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the construction work of Sleemanabad Tunnel should be completed within the time limit. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was reviewing the progress of the construction work of Sleemanabad Tunnel in Samatva Bhawan located at the Chief Minister’s residence. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that special care should be taken while constructing the tunnel below the residential area.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the Sleemanabad Tunnel under construction under the Bargi Diversion Project is a mega project for the state. This project will provide irrigation facilities to the farmers of Jabalpur, Katni, Maihar, Satna and Rewa and drinking water facilities to the villagers. Industrial units will also get water supply through the canal system. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also gave instructions to create an online dashboard for continuous monitoring of other mega projects of the state. A presentation based on the updated progress of Bargi Diversion Project and Sleemanabad Tunnel was given in the meeting.

Chauhan, Member (Energy) Shri Shishir Kushwaha, Chief Engineer Upper Narmada Zone Jabalpur D.L. Verma, Secretary G.P. Sonkar, Secretary (Cell) Manish Thakur and related officers were present in the meeting.
