Complete all development works in a planned manner and within the stipulated time frame: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav
bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that all types of pending infrastructural development and construction works should be completed in a planned manner as soon as possible. There should be no shortage in the quality of construction works. The performance of the officers will be evaluated on the basis of the quality of work. Ensure that all types of work are completed within the stipulated time frame. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav gave instructions to the officers to this effect in a high-level meeting regarding the development and construction works of Rewa and Shahdol divisions at Samatva Bhawan (Chief Minister’s residence) on Monday. He said that if the construction works are found to be substandard or of poor quality, then the concerned officers will be held responsible for it.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Kumar Shukla, Additional Chief Secretary in Chief Minister’s Office Dr. Rajesh Rajoura, Additional Chief Secretary in-charge of Rewa Division Shri J.N. Kansotia, Additional Chief Secretary in-charge of Shahdol Division Shri Neeraj Mandloi, Additional Chief Secretary Higher Education Shri Anupam Rajan, Principal Secretary Shri Sanjay Shukla, Principal Secretary Shri Deepali Rastogi, Principal Secretary Shri Vivek Porwal and other senior officers were present in the meeting. MPs and MLAs of both the divisions also participated virtually in the meeting. In the meeting, points and pending works related to Water Resources Department / M.P. Pollution Control Board, Public Works Department, Energy Department, Forest Department, Higher Education Department, Urban Administration and Housing Development Department, Panchayat and Rural Development, Tribal Affairs Department, School Education, Culture Department were specially discussed.
Listen to the suggestions of public representatives and implement them Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that suggestions of public representatives must be taken in works related to the public. Therefore, all departmental officers should communicate with the local MP, MLA and other local public representatives regarding the construction works of their respective departments, take suggestions from them and also implement these suggestions. He said that construction works which provide immediate relief and convenience to the public after completion should be completed on priority.
Additional Chief Secretary in charge should do district wise review Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that in the division level meetings, the public representatives of the district do not get enough time to present their views. Therefore, now the Additional Chief Secretary in charge of all the divisions should first do a district-wise review, listen to the views and suggestions of all the MLAs and local public representatives, only after that, review the pending construction works in a coordinated manner in the division level meeting. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav directed that the construction work of God irrigation project of Sidhi district should be completed as soon as possible. The obstacles coming in the way of completion of the upgradation work of Sidhi-Singrauli National Highway should be removed and the remaining work should also be completed quickly.
New collectorate will be built in Maihar and Mauganj
The Additional Chief Secretary in-charge of Rewa Division informed that under the Re-Designation Scheme, new collectorate buildings will be constructed in the newly formed Maihar and Mauganj districts. 3C type residential houses will also be constructed in Mauganj by PWD (Building Wing). New collectorate buildings of both the districts will be constructed at a cost of about Rs. 43-43 crores. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav directed to construct new collectorate buildings in both the new districts on the basis of standard models built in other districts of the state. On the demand of public representatives, the Chief Minister also approved to run faculties like Sanskrit, Sociology and Home Science at the graduation level in Government Jagannath Singh Smriti Mahavidyalaya in Chitrangi of Singrauli district and Hindi Literature, Sociology, Geography, Sanskrit, Political Science and History at the post-graduation level in the same college.
Chitrakoot will be developed on the lines of Ayodhya In the review of the Urban Development and Housing Development Department, the development of Chitrakoot was discussed in detail. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the holy city of Chitrakoot will now be developed on the lines of Ayodhya. The Additional Chief Secretary in charge informed that for the overall development of Chitrakoot, a development proposal of Rs. 60 crores by the Chitrakoot Municipal Council and Rs. 88 crores by the MP Housing Board was sent to the government. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that a unified development plan should be made for the all-round development of Chitrakoot. For this, suggestions should also be taken from everyone and by incorporating everyone’s suggestions, Chitrakoot should be developed in real terms like Ramnagari Ayodhya.
Preparations for the construction of Maa Sharda Lok in Maihar Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that for the overall development of the world famous Maa Sharda temple of Maihar, Maa Sharda Lok will be constructed here. Culture, Tourism and Religious Affairs Department should work together so that Maa Sharda Lok can be constructed as soon as possible. Commissioner Rewa Mr. B.S. Jamod said that the initial design for the construction of Maa Sharda Lok has been prepared by the Executive Engineer Tourism Department, Rewa. The process of approval for its construction is being done at a high level.
Additional Chief Secretary in charge should review on 7th January in Shahdol During the review of Shahdol division, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that action will be taken on all the suggestions of the public representatives. Development works will be done as per the need. The arrangements will be further improved. A bridge will also be built in the Son river under Shahdol division. Necessary human resources will be supplied in the division. He told the public representatives that Additional Chief Secretary in-charge of Shahdol division, Mr. Neeraj Mandloi will hold a meeting in Shahdol on 7 January 2025. All public representatives should give their suggestions.
