Commissioner inspected the water logging situation around the ring road in the city at various places

Raipur. Today, as per the orders of Raipur District Collector Dr. Gaurav Kumar Singh, Commissioner of Municipal Corporation Raipur Abinash Mishra visited various places and inspected the water logging situation during rain in the capital city of Raipur. The Commissioner inspected various places related to the problem of water logging during rain in Shailendra Nagar, Tagore Nagar and the city near the ring road and directed the concerned officials to immediately make arrangements for drainage of water to provide immediate relief to the citizens from the problem of water logging. The Commissioner has instructed the Zone Commissioners to get the water logging places and surrounding areas cleaned and to continuously monitor the cleaning. The Commissioner has instructed Zone 10 Commissioner Mr. Rakesh Sharma, Executive Engineer Mr. Dinesh Sinha, Assistant Engineer Mr. Fattelal Sahu to prepare a proposal by getting a practical and technical survey of a new drain done in coordination with the officials of the National Highway Development Authority to solve the problem of water logging near the ring road in Shailendra Nagar Tagore Nagar. The Commissioner has directed all the zone commissioners to ensure prompt resolution of public complaints related to waterlogging during monsoon on priority basis by continuous monitoring.
