CM Dhami urges devotees – Along with the pilgrimage, also take care of the cleanliness of Devbhoomi

Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami today attended the flag-off event for the “Char Dham Yatra 2025 from Rishikesh,” organized by the Joint Rotation Travel Arrangement Committee at ISBT, Rishikesh. On this occasion, he welcomed the pilgrims who are about to embark on the Char Dham Yatra and flagged off the first 10 buses taking them to the holy shrines. CM Dhami Welcomed Pilgrims with Warm Wishes The Chief Minister warmly welcomed all the pilgrims visiting for the Char Dham Yatra and offered prayers to Baba Kedarnath, Lord Badri Vishal, Goddess Gangotri, and Goddess Yamunotri for everyone’s safe and smooth journey. He expressed hope that this year’s yatra would surpass all previous records and set a new milestone. He assured that the state government is fully committed to ensuring a safe pilgrimage experience. All the preparations related to the yatra are being continuously reviewed at every level. The government aims to make sure that when devotees return home after completing their journey, they carry back golden memories and positive experiences of their time in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand.

CM Urges Devotees to Help Keep Uttarakhand Clean The Chief Minister said that lakhs of devotees from across India and the world come to Uttarakhand every year, and this also opens up new employment opportunities for people in the state. He mentioned that the government has made every possible effort to provide all necessary facilities to the pilgrims during the Char Dham Yatra. He appealed to all devotees and tourists to help keep the sacred land clean and pure. He emphasized that alongside promoting a greener Char Dham Yatra, the government has placed special focus on maintaining cleanliness throughout the route.

Major Development Under PM Modi’s Leadership The Chief Minister said that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, reconstruction works in Kedarnath and the master plan for Badrinath have been moving ahead rapidly. Once the ropeway from Gaurikund to Kedarnath is complete, the journey will become even easier. He also noted that due to the construction of the all-weather road, pilgrims can now reach the Char Dham from Rishikesh much faster than before. CM Dhami appreciated the Joint Rotation Travel Arrangement Committee for its continued efforts in facilitating a smooth pilgrimage for the devotees.
