Children of police families got bus facility to go to school
Raipur. This is your father’s boss and due to his efforts, you all have got a school bus. All of you will now be able to come to school comfortably and safely. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said these things while introducing the Home Minister during a discussion with the school children of the police family today. All the children clapped in happiness of getting the bus and thanked the Chief Minister and the Home Minister. The Chief Minister told the children that all of you should study well and progress well.
Actually, today the children of the police family living in the Police Colony located in Amlidih of the capital Raipur got their school bus. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai and Home Minister Vijay Sharma handed over the keys of the bus to Maria Bhatpahari, a little student of the police family, in a program organized in the Chief Minister’s residence premises. He performed the ritualistic worship with the members of the police family and flagged off the bus.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said that this is a very good initiative. The problems of the children have been resolved and now the children will be able to come to school safely. He said that our police personnel provide their services 24 hours a day and 7 days a week with great diligence. This initiative would have definitely relieved their worries. This bus has been made available for the children from CSR funds. I will also request other industrial institutions to cooperate in such works from their CSR funds and promote it.
After this, the Chief Minister and the Home Minister met the children of the police family and enquired about their well-being. During the discussion, the Chief Minister inquired about the facilities of the Police Residential Colony including the operation of the bus. On the request of the police family, the Chief Minister said that I will soon come to meet you people and also eat Thethri-Khurmi with tea.
It is worth noting that the Police Colony Residential Committee, Amlidih, Raipur had written a letter to Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma requesting to provide a bus for school children. Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Sharma accepted the request and informed the Chief Minister about it. On the instructions of the Chief Minister, the Home Minister immediately asked the representative of Ambuja Cement to provide a bus from CSR funds. In this regard, a 52 seater AC bus has been made available for the children of police families today. The bus was flagged off by the Chief Minister and Home Minister today.
