Children develop holistically by getting opportunities for interests along with studies: Secretary School Education
Bhopal. It is necessary for children to get opportunities in the field of other interests along with bookish studies. This ensures the holistic development of their personality. School Education Secretary Dr. Sanjay Goyal was discussing with parents and teachers at Kamala Nehru CM Rise School in Bhopal today. Secretary Dr. Goyal also visited the Srujan Exhibition.
It is worth mentioning that these days Srujan exhibitions are being organized in CM Rise schools as part of the activities conducted for the holistic development of students. In these exhibitions, various models made by the students from the beginning of the session till now and achievements in other fields along with other co-curricular activities were displayed in front of the parents.
Objective and activities of Srujan
The School Education Department has organized “Srujan” in CM Rise schools with the idea that parents should be involved in the educational development of students and they can become familiar with the activities happening in the school. Under the class-wise activities in the exhibition, self-made posters based on basic literacy and numeracy of Mission Ankur, run for strong early education, puzzles based on mathematical skills, activities based on digits, letters and words were presented by the students of primary and pre-primary classes. The students of secondary classes presented attractive models made on science and other subjects along with various activities in the exhibition.
Parents praised CM Rise School
The parents present in the program observed the exhibition and gave mixed reactions of pride on the academic and co-educational achievements of their children. Many parents including Mrs. Sudha Pandey, mother of Kumari Palak, a student of class VIII, Mrs. Vinita Sharma, mother of Kumari Aagya Sharma, a student of class I, Mr. Rajesh Namdev, father of Kumari Ambika, a student of class IX and Mrs. Sheetal Sharma, mother of Kumari Radhika Sharma, a student of class IV, thanked the government by calling this changed form of government schools in the form of CM Rise schools a unique gift for their children. Among these, many parents have got their children studying in private schools admitted in CM Rise schools. On this occasion, along with the students, parents were also honored and rewarded for their achievements and notable work.
