Raipur. Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain today reviewed in detail the works of National Highway, National Highway Authority of India, Highway and Mineral and Telecommunication related projects under various districts of the state at Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan here. The Chief Secretary directed the collector of the concerned district to expedite the works including land acquisition, compensation distribution, tree felling and plantation of trees for other projects including road construction works.
In the meeting, the works of Bilaspur-Urga road, Raipur-Durg four line and other works under Bilaspur-Korba and Janjgir-Champa districts under the National Highway Authority of India project were reviewed in detail. Similarly, the works of other roads including Raipur-Visakhapatnam-Bharatmala project were reviewed. He reviewed in detail the works of Gebra Pendra Road, New Rail Project, Talaipalli Coal Project and other projects and said that ensure that the works are completed at a fast pace.
In this meeting held through video conference, Additional Chief Secretary Forest and Climate Change Department Richa Sharma, Secretary of Public Works Department Dr. Kamalpreet Singh, Secretary of Revenue Department Avinash Champawat along with BSNL, Railways, NTPC, National Highways Authority of India, Public Works Department (NH) and Collectors of other districts including Korba, Raigarh, Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, Bilaspur, Durg, Mahasamund participated.
