Chief Minister’s strict attitude on the incident of tiger’s death in Korea
Raipur. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai took the incident of tiger’s death in Korea district seriously and directed Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and Forest Force Chief Shri V. Srinivas Rao to take strict action against the officers and employees responsible for this incident. In compliance with these instructions, Forest Guard Pitambar Lal Rajwada and Forest Officer Rampratap Singh of Ramgarh Circle of Range Sonhat under Korea Forest Division Baikunthpur have been suspended. In this connection, an explanation has been sought from Forest Range Officer Vinay Kumar Singh regarding the death of the tiger.
The Chief Minister has directed the officers and employees of the Forest Department to perform their duties diligently for the protection of forests and conservation of wildlife. He said that strict action will be taken against the concerned persons for any negligence in this regard.
