A large number of villagers were present in this chaupal, who communicated directly with the Chief Minister and informed about their problems, suggestions and implementation of government schemes. Chief Minister Sai said that the objective of our government is not only to make schemes, but also to ensure the implementation of those schemes at the ground level and reach every eligible citizen. He said that the basic foundation of good governance is public hearing and connection with public concern and today’s chaupal is a step in that direction.

On this, Mrs. Sonai Bai told that she is regularly receiving this amount, due to which her family is getting financial support. The Chief Minister saw that there is water supply from tap in her house under Jal Jeevan Mission. He said that now water is also reaching your house, this is a big change in the direction of providing basic facilities in our villages. Chief Minister’s appeal for survey of Awas Yojana
The villagers present in the Chaupal demanded new housing under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. On this, Chief Minister Sai said that the Chhattisgarh government is committed to provide housing for everyone. He informed that the survey work under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is going on till 15 May 2025, in which all those people who are deprived of this scheme till now should register their names. The work of providing housing to everyone as per eligibility will be done on priority. He said that the state government is ensuring that no eligible citizen is deprived of the right to housing. This is not just a scheme to provide a roof, but a strong step towards giving respect and security. The Chief Minister said that good governance is not just an administrative process, but it is a system of governance based on citizens’ participation, transparency and accountability. He said that through Chaupal, we are able to directly connect with the lives of the people and know what changes the schemes are actually bringing in the lives of the people. He said that when we go to a beneficiary’s house and ask whether the money has come or not, when we ourselves see the quality of the construction work, only then we believe that the schemes are coming out of the files and reaching the beneficiaries.
