Raipur 19 May 2025: Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai reached the Samadhan Shivir organized in the remote and inaccessible village Bijrakachar of Lormi development block of Mungeli district today in the third phase of Sushasan Tihar. There was tremendous enthusiasm among the villagers as soon as the Chief Minister arrived for the first time in this area nestled between dense forests and hills. This area is dominated by tribals and Baiga special backward tribes and is located on the border of Chhattisgarh.
Chief Minister Sai formally inaugurated the Samadhan Shivir organized under Sushasan Tihar by lighting a lamp in front of Chhattisgarh Mahtari and Saraswati Mata. During this, rural women and farmers greeted the Chief Minister with traditional Khumri and Gajmala. Union Minister of State Tokhan Sahu, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw and public representatives were also present with the Chief Minister in the Samadhan Camp. On this occasion, Chief Minister Sai met the villagers with affection in the Samadhan Camp and heard the public problems. He made historic announcements of setting up a new college in Dindori, upgradation of PHC in Khudia and construction of a hostel in Lormi. In the Samadhan Camp organized under the third phase of Sushasan Tihar, the Gram Panchayats of the area Bijrakchar, Boirha, Khudia, Mahamai, Niwaskhar, Surahi, Katami, Lamani, Chhaparwa, Achanakmar, Darwaza, Karidongri, Dongrigarh, Jhiriya were included as clusters. The Chief Minister directly communicated with the beneficiaries of 14 Gram Panchayats of the cluster and took information about the schemes of the government and heard their problems.
Chief Minister Sai benefited the beneficiaries by distributing material in the Samadhan Camp. He distributed Ayushman cards to 5 beneficiaries, ration cards to 5, bond letters to 20 beneficiaries of Noni Suraksha Yojana, cheques of Rs 5 lakh 55 thousand to 6 beneficiaries under the Cooperative Department, keys of PM housing and acceptance letters to 33 beneficiaries, revolving fund to women self-help groups and Lakhpati Didi certificate to 3 beneficiaries, job cards to 23 beneficiaries under MNREGA, incentives to a meritorious student of a tendu leaf collection family. On this occasion, the keys of the safari vehicle were also provided to the women self-help group of the village for the Achanakmar Jungle Safari by the Forest Department. Addressing the villagers, Chief Minister Sai said that it has been about one and a half years for the present government and most of the guarantees given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi have been fulfilled. Chief Minister Sai said that as soon as our government was formed, housing was approved for 18 lakh families in the first cabinet meeting held on December 13. He said that in the housing survey going on till May 15, those who have not got housing yet will also be given its benefit.
Chief Minister Sai said that paddy is being purchased from farmers at the rate of Rs 3100 per quintal and lump sum amount is being transferred to their accounts. Mothers whose names have not been included under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana yet will also be added soon. Mothers are depositing money in Sukanya Yojana by getting benefit from this scheme. He said that tendu leaves are being purchased at the rate of Rs 5500 per standard sack. Senior citizens are being given pilgrimage under the Chief Minister’s Tirtha Yatra Yojana. The Chief Minister said that schemes are being implemented rapidly by bringing Modi’s guarantee on the ground. More than 5 lakh 60 thousand landless laborers have been given the benefit of Kisan Samman Yojana. The government is eliminating the possibilities of corruption through innovation and technology and all the work is being done online. Strict action is being taken against those who commit corruption.
Union Minister of State Tokhan Sahu said that Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai is working with full dedication and commitment to implement each and every guarantee of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Our government is taking every promise made to the public seriously and is engaged in fulfilling it. Today I have the honour of serving all of you as an MP. Before the assembly elections, we had promised that we will first provide houses to homeless families under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Our government gave priority to this promise and as soon as the government was formed, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai first approved the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Our resolve is that no poor person in the state should remain hungry. In this direction, rice is being provided regularly to every needy person, whether he is in the forest area or in remote areas. Today, toilet facilities are available in every house, and clean drinking water is being ensured to everyone. Through the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, we are honouring mothers and sisters. Under this scheme, they are being provided financial assistance of one thousand rupees every month, which is increasing both their self-confidence and economic independence.
Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw while addressing said that Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai has come to this remote forest area Bijrakachar today. He is providing assistance of Rs 1,000 to all the Mahataris. He said that the son of the tribal society has come to meet all of you himself, carrying love and affection among the tribal society. He said that Achanakmar area is the area of Baiga tribal society. There were many problems in this area earlier, but after the formation of the new government, the people here are getting basic facilities. People’s problems are being resolved through Samadhan camps. He said that the Sai government is fully implementing each and every guarantee of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He also said that under the leadership of the Chief Minister, the state of Chhattisgarh is moving forward in the direction of continuous development. On this occasion, Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, Chief Secretary to Chief Minister Subodh Singh and Secretary to Chief Minister P Dayanand along with other officials and villagers were present.
It is noteworthy that the demands and problems of the common people are being resolved continuously through Samadhan camps in the state. The government and administration are fully committed to take the benefits of government schemes to the last person in the society. A total of 1 lakh 29 thousand 573 applications have been received in Mungeli district, out of which 1 lakh 29 thousand 565 applications have been resolved. A total of 7 thousand 970 applications were received under Samadhan Shivir Bijrakchar Cluster, including 7 thousand 917 demands and 53 complaints, out of which 7 thousand 964 applications have been resolved qualitatively. The highest number of applications received for PM Awas is 1 thousand 977. Under Awas Plus 2.0, new names of 1 thousand 469 beneficiaries have been added after conducting a survey. Along with this, 110 land reform works, approval for 20 pond construction and 25 new job cards have been made. Along with providing 116 new ration cards, 61 names have been added and deleted, 2 labor cards, 142 new registrations of Mahtari Vandan Yojana, 31 registrations for pension and 23 new registrations have been done under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi.
