Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai inaugurated the seventh Adi Utsav in Ramnagar of Mandla

Raipur, May 4, 2025: The grand inauguration of Aadi Utsav took place on the banks of Maa Narmada in Ramnagar of Mandla district of Madhya Pradesh on Sunday, May 4. On the occasion of the inauguration of the seventh Aadi Utsav, guests from all over the country graced the festival. Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Government Vishnudev Sai, Union Tribal Minister Jual Oram, Lok Sabha MP Kanker Bhojraj Nag and other dignitaries were present on the inaugural day.
On the first day of this two-day festival, Maha Arogya Shivir was organized to provide health facilities to the people and Divyang Shivir was organized to provide assistive devices to the disabled with the help of Emilco for the welfare of the disabled. Cultural programs were also organized continuously during the festival. The guests present in the program observed the Maha Arogya Shivir, the assistive device distribution camp organized with the help of Emilco to provide artificial limbs to the disabled and the Millet Festival. The cultural events of Adivasi Gudum Dal, tribal dance and other tribal folk culture captivated the people. A seminar was also organized in the festival in the afternoon. During the festival, stalls of schemes were displayed by various government departments, apart from this, food stalls were set up by the Agriculture Department and the State Rural Livelihood Mission. On the first day of the Adi Utsav, a large number of Pandas and Bhumkas, who handle tribal traditions and worship practices from the district and outside the district, also participated.
