Jagdalpur: The Bharatiya Janata Party is making every possible effort to win the fort of Jagdalpur in the urban body elections. On Saturday, a grand road show of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai was organized in Jagdalpur city. Where Chief Minister Sai was welcomed and greeted at various places by BJP councilor candidates, workers, various societies and institutions. To campaign in favour of BJP mayor candidate Sanjay Pandey of Jagdalpur Municipal Corporation, the road show of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai started from Madia Chowk in front of the airport. From there the convoy of Chief Minister Sai’s road show passed through Kumharpara Road, Shaheed Park, Jhankar Talkies, City Kotwali, State Bank Chowk, Mahavir Chowk, Novelty Chowk, Main Road, Gol Bazar Chowk, Sirhasar Chauraha. During this Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai bowed his head and offered prayers at Mai Danteshwari Temple and prayed for the happiness and prosperity of the people of Bastar including the state. From where the road show of the Chief Minister of the state concluded at Chandni Chowk via Gurunanak Chowk, Sanjay Market, Hanuman Mandir Chauraha.
While addressing the election meeting, CM Vishnudev Sai said that this time in the municipal elections, the liar, coward and corrupt Congress government should not be given a chance. For years, they spent all their time in corruption. This includes PSC scam, liquor scam, sand scam, Mahadev Satta App scam. He said that if our government is formed in the corporation, then we will fulfill the years old demand of the people here for lease. He said that people who have been occupying Nazul land for years will be given lease of land ownership. At the same time, 25 percent tax exemption will be given on property in the name of women. Those whose consolidated tax is pending for a long time, their one-time solution will be done. CM Vishnudev Sai, while sharing the promises of the Sankalp Patra, appealed to support the BJP candidates and make them victorious with a huge number of votes. Also, on the historic victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party in the Delhi Assembly elections, he said that the public has expressed their faith in the works of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP, I express my heartfelt gratitude to the voters.
