Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai gave many gifts in Baldakachar: Embankment will be constructed in Mahanadi, high mast light will be installed in the square

Raipur 9 May 2025: Under the state-wide Sushasan Tihar, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai took information from the villagers regarding the implementation of government schemes in a Chaupal organized in village Baldakachar of Balodabazar Bhatapara district. During this, Chief Minister Sai announced the construction of embankment and installation of high mast light in the village square to protect the river bank from erosion by the flow of Mahanadi in village Baldakachar. Along with this, on the demand of the villagers, he talked about opening a sub-health center in Baldakachar, getting an investigation done for the construction of Anicut in Mahanadi, providing employment by training drivers to drive safari vehicles for jungle safari in Navapara Sanctuary.
Chief Minister Sai said that to know whether the problems of the people and the government schemes are reaching the common people or not – the officers are reaching your home under Sushasan Tihar. The survey of Awas 2.0 is going on to provide housing benefits to the eligible beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural). All eligible beneficiaries must get themselves registered in this. Now the government has also decided that a person owning 5 acres of unirrigated or 2.5 acres of irrigated land and having a motorcycle will also be eligible for the housing scheme. The portal will be started again for new registration for the Mahtari Vandan Yojana. On this occasion, Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, Chief Minister’s Principal Secretary Subodh Kumar Singh, Secretary Basavaraju S. and other officials were present.
