
Direct dialogue with villagers
Raipur 21 May 2025: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai’s helicopter landed today at Dhodhrikhala (Navapara) Para in Gram Panchayat Hargawan of Janpad Panchayat Shankargarh. This visit of the Chief Minister was a surprise inspection under the ‘Sushasan Tihar’ program. Seeing the Chief Minister suddenly landing in the village from the helicopter, a wave of happiness and curiosity ran among the villagers. A large number of people ran to see the chopper. The villagers welcomed the Chief Minister in a traditional way. Women washed the feet of Chief Minister Sai, applied tilak on him and garlanded him with sarai leaves. A welcome song was also sung. Hargawan village is a tribal dominated area and people of Pahadi Korwa special backward tribe reside here. Chief Minister Sai held a chaupal under jackfruit, mango and Mahua trees in Dhodhrikhala Para. In the chaupal, the Chief Minister directly communicated with the villagers and listened to their problems. The villagers expressed their views openly.
A woman told about the problem of water, on which the Chief Minister took actual information from the officials present on the spot. Similarly, Smt. Deepu Baghel of Belsar village told about not being able to do farming on leased forest land. The Chief Minister directed the district administration and police department to investigate this matter immediately and take appropriate action. The Chief Minister asked the villagers whether they are getting the benefits of government schemes or not, whether the Patwari comes to the village or not and whether there is any revenue related problem. Out of the 19 houses sanctioned in Dhodhrikhala Para under the Pradhan Mantri Janman Yojana, 16 houses have been completed. The Chief Minister also took information in this regard and discussed the status of implementation of schemes with the villagers. Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain and Chief Minister’s Principal Secretary Subodh Singh were also present with Chief Minister Sai. On receiving the information about the arrival of the Chief Minister, the District Collector and Superintendent of Police also reached the spot.
