Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai paid tribute to Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee on his birth anniversary
Raipur, 6 July 2025: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai paid tribute to Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, a great educationist, dynamic nationalist and one who instilled national consciousness among the Indian masses, on his birth anniversary. Chief Minister Sai paid floral tribute to the photograph of Dr. Mukherjee at his residence office and recalled his invaluable contribution and expressed his views on his contribution. Chief Minister Sai said that the life of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee is a symbol of patriotism, selfless service and indomitable commitment towards united India. He was a visionary politician, a sharp thinker and a strong supporter of education, social justice and national unity. His principles and work inspire all of us to serve the nation even today.
The Chief Minister said that Dr. Mukherjee’s struggle for the unity and sovereignty of India is marked as a golden chapter in Indian history. His sacrifice will continue to inspire future generations to take a pledge to build a strong India. He said that Dr. Mukherjee’s dream was of a self-reliant, strong and glorious India, to realize which we have to constantly follow his ideals. Sai said that Dr. Mukherjee gave a new direction to Indian democracy by laying the foundation of ideological clarity and principled politics. His thoughts are still relevant and are playing a guiding role in the development of the nation. The true tribute to Dr. Mukherjee would be to imbibe his thoughts and values in our conduct. The Chief Minister called upon all the citizens to take inspiration from his ideals and make joint efforts to build a prosperous, self-respecting and capable India.
