Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai gave a clear message: Commissioner and Collector should visit regularly; Ensure timely and regular operation of Revenue Court

Raipur 16 May 2025: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, in a high-level review meeting held in the assembly hall of Rajnandgaon District Panchayat under Sushasan Tihar, gave strict instructions to the officers regarding regular visits and stay in rural areas for development and public service and timely operation of revenue courts. Chief Minister Sai said that the dream of developed Chhattisgarh will be realized only when the officers remain connected with the ground reality and the problems of the public will be resolved directly in their presence. For this, all the commissioners, collectors and other senior officers should regularly visit and stay in the districts and blocks under them and strengthen the culture of accountability by ensuring physical monitoring of the development works being done in the area.
Chief Minister Sai directed the revenue officers to ensure regular operation of the Revenue Court. Along with this, every officer should work according to the predetermined court calendar. The court date should be canceled only in very special circumstances. This will not only ensure timely justice to the common man but will also bring transparency in administrative work. The Chief Minister also said that the backbone of good governance is that the officers maintain public relations, remain present among the public, and solve their problems promptly. This will not only strengthen the feeling of trust but will also increase the credibility of governance. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai reviewed the development works of Rajnandgaon, Mohla-Manpur-Ambagadh Chowki and Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai districts under Sushasan Tihar in a joint review meeting held in the meeting hall of the District Panchayat Bhawan of Rajnandgaon district today. Chief Minister Sai gave clear instructions to the meeting officials that effective implementation of the schemes should be ensured at the ground level and the benefits should reach every eligible beneficiary on time.
Chief Minister Sai said that there should be wide publicity of health schemes so that the common man gets information about the schemes in time and they can take advantage of it. Regular camps should be organized for quick resolution of revenue cases. Pending demands of all housing schemes including Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana should be resolved 100 percent. Also, timely action should be taken while maintaining coordination and transparency in the implementation of the public welfare schemes of the government in the districts. Chief Minister Sai said that the objective of Sushasan Tihar is to ensure that the reach of the government and administration reaches the villages, the poor and the last citizen. He said that the criterion for the success of the schemes is not only the progress on paper, but the satisfaction and feeling of security on the faces of the beneficiaries. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said that the state government has successfully implemented most of the announcements made under the guarantee of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the ground level. He appreciated the good work being done by the officials in all the districts and said that the administration should work with dedication and coordination as per the expectations of the public.
The Chief Minister directed to ensure the availability of fertilizers and seeds to the farmers on time and said that in view of the coming Kharif season, ensure advance preparation as per the needs of the farmers in all the districts. Also, he directed the officials to make arrangements for quick resolution of pending revenue cases by organizing camps so that the common citizens can get timely solutions. He informed that the state government has launched Atal Seva Kendra in 1460 panchayats. With the smooth functioning of these centers, rural citizens will not need to go elsewhere for bank, document and digital services. The Chief Minister handed over the responsibility of effective operation of these centers to the concerned officials and directed that public facilities should be given top priority. Chief Minister Sai informed that it has been decided to organize Tiranga Yatra in all the panchayats, which will encourage national consciousness and citizen participation. He urged all public representatives, officials and panchayat representatives to ensure active participation in this yatra. Chief Minister Sai said that the dream of developed Chhattisgarh is a shared responsibility of all of us. Every officer-employee of the government-administration will have to speed up the development journey by working with coordination, promptness and service spirit. On this occasion, Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, Deputy Chief Minister and Minister in-charge of the district Vijay Sharma, MP Santosh Pandey, Mayor Madhusudan Yadav, Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Subodh Kumar Singh and other public representatives and senior officials were present.
