Chief Minister Sai performed Bhoomi Pujan of 250 seater Nalanda campus in Kunkuri: Indoor and outdoor study facilities will be available in the library

Raipur 21 June 2025: Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai performed the Bhoomi Pujan of the 250-seater Nalanda campus to be built at a cost of Rs 4.37 crore at Saliatoli village of Kunkuri in Jashpur district. On this occasion, while wishing the youth, he said that the aim of the state government is to provide quality education in every district. For this, Nalanda campuses are being established in all the district headquarters. Nalanda campus is being constructed at two places in Jashpur district. The Nalanda campus will be equipped with state-of-the-art library, teaching resources and technical facilities. This campus will remain open 24 hours to ensure uninterrupted studies of the students. Chief Minister Sai said that to ensure transparency in civic facilities by the government, the services of all departments are being made online through e-office. 10 new revolutionary initiatives have been implemented in the revenue sector, due to which processes like registry and transfer have now become simple and accessible to the common man. Chief Minister Sai said that keeping in mind the interest of the students, CBI investigation is being conducted against those who indulge in corruption in examinations like PSC. Also, Medical College, Agriculture College, Horticulture, Nursing, Naturopathy and Physiotherapy College will be established in Jashpur district. Nalanda campus will have study facilities 24 hours a day, seven days a week on the lines of metros. It will have indoor and outdoor study zones as well as an oxy reading zone to connect with the natural environment. This campus will be based on autonomous model and will be operated with solar energy giving priority to environmental protection. Electricity consumption will be minimal in this eco-friendly design campus and more than 50 species of native plants will be planted. Keeping in mind the overall development of the youth, facilities like youth tower, sports court, cafeteria, ATM and health zone will also be developed in the campus. Self-financing model will be adopted for operation. The library will have more than 50,000 books, digital library, Wi-Fi zone and books for competitive exams. Also, there will be provision of RFID based entry system, biometric ID, RFID for tracking of books and software based book management system. On this occasion, District Panchayat Chairman Salik Say, Kunkuri District Chairman Sushila Say, Vice President Baleshwar Yadav, Collector Rohit Vyas, Senior Superintendent of Police Shashi Mohan Singh, District Panchayat CEO Abhishek Kumar, Bharat Singh, Krishna Kumar Rai, public representatives, officers, employees and a large number of villagers were present.
