
Announcement of approval of Rs 10 lakh for Balika Griha
Raipur, 21 February 2025: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai reached the Government Girls Home located at Khamhardih in the capital Raipur and celebrated his birthday with simplicity with little smiles. Chief Minister Sai shared his special day with these little smiles and gave the message that being a partner in the happiness of every section of the society is the identity of true leadership. Chief Minister Sai cut the cake with the girls in the Balika Griha, spent time with them and listened to their innocent laughter and talks with affection. During this, the girls put forward their small wishes in front of him, which also included the demand for a sound box. The Chief Minister immediately fulfilled it and presented this gift to the Balika Griha. Apart from this, he announced to provide Rs 10 lakh for computers, water coolers and other arrangements in the Balika Griha, so that there is no inconvenience in the education of the girls living here.

He told that the primary school of his village was of thatched roofs, and water used to drip during rainy days. He told the girls that they are lucky that they have got a better hostel and a good environment for studies. He inspired the girls to study with dedication and hard work and explained that education is the key to success. Giving examples of the life struggles of great personalities of the country and the world, Chief Minister Sai said that instead of being afraid of struggles, they should make them their strength. He assured the girls that the state government will provide all possible help for their bright future. It is worth mentioning that at present 57 girls are living in the Balika Griha, where the Women and Child Development Department is providing them free accommodation, food, education and medical facilities. On this occasion, MLA Purandar Mishra, Secretary of Women and Child Development Department Smt. Shammi Abidi, Raipur Collector Dr. Gaurav Kumar Singh and other officials were present.
