Chief Minister Sai attended Guru Darshan Mela, took blessings by worshipping Guru Gaddi
Raipur. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today attended Guru Darshan Mela organized at Telasi Dham, the karmabhoomi of Baba Guru Ghasidas and the Tapobhoomi of Saint Shri Amardas of Satnami sect in Balodabazar-Bhatapara district. He bowed down by worshipping Guru Gaddi and prayed for the prosperity of Chhattisgarh residents and Dayal Das Baghel, Revenue Minister Tank Ram Verma, MP Janjgir Champa Kamlesh Jangde, former MLA Sanam Jagade, Collector Deepak Soni, SP Vijay Agarwal and a large number of Rajmahants, saints and devotees were present.
Historical importance of Telasipuri
Village Telasi is located on Bhaisa to Arang road, about 40 km from the district headquarters Balodabazar. Where the karmabhoomi of Baba Guru Ghasidas and the Tapobhoomi of Saint Amar Das of Satnami sect is also called Telasi Bada by the local people. It is an important religious place for the people of Satnam sect. Around 1840, Telasi Bara was constructed by Guru Shri Balak Das, the second son of Baba Guru Ghasidas.
