The Mahtari Vandan Yojana promises Rs 1,000 monthly to women in Chhattisgarh. Although the government initially announced the second installment for April 1, it won’t be arriving on that date. The Chief Minister cited the conclusion of the financial year as the reason behind this delay.

Payment to be Released on 2nd or 3rd: CM Explains Delay in Mahtari Vandan Yojana

The Chief Minister assured that under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, funds would be disbursed to women on April 1. However, due to the financial year ending, April 1 will be a holiday, a detail the CM wasn’t aware of initially. As a result, payments will now be issued on the 2nd or 3rd of April, directly into the accounts of the women beneficiaries.
