Raipur, May 16, 2025: The villagers of Jhuranadi village were overwhelmed by the simplicity and ease of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai. In the hot afternoon, the Chief Minister’s helicopter suddenly landed in Jhuranadi village of Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai district. The villagers were surprised to find the Chief Minister among them without any prior information. The Chief Minister held a Chaupal under the shade of the banyan tree of the village and interacted with the villagers in a very friendly manner. The entire village thronged in no time and the atmosphere became festive. Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma was also present with the Chief Minister. Chief Minister Sai, while beginning his conversation with the villagers, said that I have held Janchaupal in many districts of Bastar, Surguja and in remote villages of districts like Janjgir, Champa, Kabirdham, Bemetara. He said that today I have reached your village Jhuranadi directly via Manpur-Mohla-Ambagh Chowki district. Our government is the government of villages, poor and farmers. We want to ensure that the benefits of government schemes reach every household. He directed the officials to take prompt action on the demands and problems of the villagers and that the benefits of the schemes reach every eligible beneficiary on time.

On the demand of the villagers, the Chief Minister announced construction of High School and Higher Secondary School building in Jhuranadi village. He announced Rs 20 lakh for construction of CC road in the village, construction of two high level bridges – Rs 2 crore 54 lakh for construction of high level bridge on Gandai to Kritabadha access road and Rs 2 crore 52 lakh for construction of high level bridge in Limo on Gandai Karranala access road and construction of new Panchayat Bhawan in Gram Panchayat Bhorampur on the demand of the villagers. Chief Minister Sai organized Janchaupal in the shade of Banyan tree in the middle of the village market stop and started dialogue with the villagers present there in Chhattisgarhi language, which deepened the emotional bond with the villagers. He also heard the problems, suggestions and experiences related to the implementation of schemes from the villagers. The villagers wholeheartedly appreciated the spontaneous, simple, modest and humble behavior of Chief Minister Sai. The elders said that for the first time in years, such an opportunity has come, when the head of the state directly reached their village. Farmers and youth saw and felt the Chief Minister’s down-to-earth style closely.

Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, while clarifying the objectives of Sushasan Tihar on this occasion, said that from the Chief Minister to the Ministers, MPs, MLAs and local public representatives, all are actively participating in this campaign and evaluating the ground reality. He informed that he himself has visited many villages from Bastar to Surguja, and is taking direct information about the progress of the schemes. The Chief Minister prayed at the Pavanputra Hanuman Temple located at the village’s market stop and wished for the prosperity of the people of the state. Former MLA Komal Janghel, District Panchayat President Mrs. Priyanka Khamhan Tamrakar, along with many public representatives and senior administrative officers were present on this occasion. 180 PM houses completed in Jhuranadi village The population of Gram Panchayat Jhuranadi under Khairagarh development block is 1935. This village is dominated by Lodhi and Verma community. Adequate arrangements for health, education, electricity and drinking water are available in the village. Anganwadi center is also operational. The village has facilities of primary school, middle school and high school, due to which children are getting quality education. A total of 217 houses have been sanctioned under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in the Gram Panchayat, out of which 180 have been completed and 37 are under construction. 616 women are benefiting from Mahtari Vandan Yojana. Water is being supplied under Jal Jeevan Mission. Villagers are getting employment under MNREGA. Women of 17 self-help groups in the village are involved in livelihood activities.
